Outside Sales Representative Job Listing in Cumming, Georgia
Gateway Decks, a locally owned and operated deck building and resurfacing company serving the North Georgia area, is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team as an independent contractor. You will meet with homeowners in their homes, assess their outdoor living goals, and present custom deck solutions using premium pressure-treated lumber and Trex composite decking, managing the process from the first appointment through a signed agreement.
Responsibilities
- Run in-home sales appointments from company-provided and self-generated leads
- Measure project areas and prepare accurate estimates and proposals
- Educate homeowners on material options, design choices, and pricing
- Follow up with prospects and maintain a healthy pipeline
- Represent the Gateway Decks brand professionally in the field
Requirements
- 2+ years of in-home or outside sales experience, preferably in remodeling, home improvement, or construction
- Strong communication, presentation, and closing skills
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
- Comfortable using a smartphone, laptop, and basic estimating or CRM software
- Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States
- Able to walk properties and take measurements, including outdoor sites and stairs
Position Details
- 1099 independent contractor position, commission based
- Contractor carries their own liability and auto insurance
- Contractor provides their own vehicle and devices and sets their own schedule within customer appointment windows
